If I can be rooted in Love, it changes everything. When I face strong winds and storms, I’m grounded in something stronger than the storm. When I face mountains and hardship that feel far too big for me to summit on my own, I’m grounded in something bigger than the biggest struggles I’ll ever face. When I feel like the darkness is closing in, I’m grounded in the source of light and life. When I feel anger, sadness, or hopelessness wash over me, I’m grounded in something that can weather every feeling and still stand steady….the Love of God. Deeply grateful for this image to help set an intention for the life I want to live each day. I want to parent and work and grow and walk rooted in God’s love. It is such a comfort to me that even on my weakest days, I have a place I can go for strength.
