I think most of us can say that we are ready for a NEW YEAR. We felt this last year around this time, not knowing that we would still be in a state of the pandemic affecting lots of aspects of life. I'm grateful for SO many things that I have learned over the past two years, but I also feel the anticipation of a new year, a new thing, a fresh start. God is into those. Each morning, new mercies. I've watched so many people walk through loss, disappointment, sorrow, and suffering, and as we head into this next year, I just want to encourage myself and everyone else to keep our eyes open. Grateful that we have a God who makes ways through the wilderness and who can send streams in the wasteland . God, help us not miss the new that You are up to, and thank you that we always have a reason to hope, to lift our eyes to the hills and remember where our help comes from. Make a way for us to move forward in love and mercy and peace and joy as we head into this next year. We are ready for a new thing. Happy New Years, y'all.
