“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”
-Psalm 18:28
I love that this verse is written in the sky each day. I think it must be one of the things God doesn’t want us to forget. Light is always stronger than the dark. We need to remember because there are nights and even days that feel so heavy and so dark and hopeless, but each morning color and light flood back into our vision with the rising of the sun, reminding us that God always turns our darkness into light. I’m so grateful for the ways I’ve seen God do this in my own story, and today, I’m grateful that this profound truth is written in the skies to remind me on the days that I forget that God’s love will continue to keep my lamp burning.
