So grateful for this verse.
Remain.
The definition of remain means to “stay put”. I am a 7 on the enneagram and I’m almost always GOING. It is so easy for me to get swept up into the social/work/family hustle, and to not think once about leaning on Jesus. I tend to do things in my own strength and then burn out, so I love this reminder to simply REMAIN in God’s love.
If I can rest there, if I can stay in God’s love for me, even as I move about my days, it will change everything. Grateful that we know how God loves us because of the way Jesus loved everyone He encountered. Grateful too for the reminder to simply remain. I don’t have to hustle or perform, I simply have to root myself down in Love unending and let that nourish and inform all the moments of my days. Lord, help me to remain in Your love today and all of my days.
