I love the perspective I always gain from being with my kids and other children. They all help me see the world like new again. My sweet 3 year old son LOVES planes and trains and trucks, so now when I see a plane or train or truck, I get excited like a kid again, even if he’s not there with me just because I know he loves those things. My favorite thing that he says when he sees “a jet” is this, “Mom!! A JET! Way way high, high up in the sky.”
He spotted three jets yesterday and his sweet words came to mind when I read this verse. God’s love is way way high, high up into the sky. His faithfulness soars above the clouds and the atmosphere... there’s no amount of mistakes or trouble or brokenness that is too much to be covered and healed by His love and mercy. They are in limitless supply. Resting in that truth today, because I’ve made my fair share of mistakes this week, and I’m so grateful that even when I screw it all up, God’s love and mercy still reach way way high high up in the sky for me and for you.
