This world can feel so heavy some days. Whether it’s the news cycle telling countless tragic stories, or our own lives that are so often full of struggle, conflict, loss, doubt, loneliness, and longing. Unfulfilled, this life can feel overwhelming.
I love that crashing into all of the pain and struggle and heartache that we so often experience, is this declaration of truth, that the One who made us is the father of compassion and the God of all comfort.
I’m reminding myself today that when my heart is tired and weary, I can run fast to collapse into His arms, that will always be full of grace and comfort.
