So grateful that every time we ask for mercy, it is there in abundance. God’s not sitting back just waiting for us to screw it all up. He’s always waiting to run to us with open arms the second we turn to Him and ask for help. Grateful today, in light of all of my forgetting and all of the mistakes I make, for a God who will be a safe place for me to run, a covering. Thankful that no matter where we are or what we are facing, we always have a place to rest, a place to be covered and held. Lord, help me to stay close to you & to be quick to turn & take refuge in you on the days I get my heart into trouble.
