I’m so grateful for this promise. “I will come to you.” What a relief to know that God sees us and that His heart is to be near us. He doesn’t stand at a distance and shake His head as we make a mess of things, He sent His son to be one of us, so we could know who He is and how He loves us.
I don’t know if you’ve ever had days when you feel all alone or misunderstood , but take heart, you are not alone. God is with you. He comes to you and His heart is that you would come to Him. Lord, help me be quick to remember that You don’t leave us or forsake us. You come to us, and I can come to you as I am with all of my mess because of what Jesus did for us all on the cross.
